The Diary Pages: Saturday July 5th, 2008...Really enjoyed playing last night at Brookhaven....the fireworks were awesome as was the crowd....let's do it again some time...back to work on the new album....

Saturday March 1st, 2008....Just wanted to give a shout out to all those folks that came out last night to Wash U. I enjoyed meeting some new friends. Hey, make my day and hit me with an email. I am still working on songs for the new album. I am being taken in a new direction and I am trying to get "out of the way" and just let it happen. Stay tuned, and Vic...you the man!

Monday Dec 31st, 2007....Just wanted to thank everyone for their support during the last year. I know there wasn't much happening, but it was a year of reflexion and in the end much fruit. I was somehow able to get together with four guys and together we are finally making the kind of music and the sound I have been searching for these last few years. They are the band. Tim Power, Joshua Klipsh, and Dustin Abell. In addition I have had the good fortune of meeting a great sound engineer and a talented musician in his own right, Peter Wagner. Stay tuned as we are in the studio these days working on the next album. One song, "Holding On," is being pre-released in the UK on Feb. 1st. It is a song I wrote about a year ago. It is on it's way to the UK as I write this. Well it is News Years Eve. I hope you are with the one you love and your loved ones. Happy New Year!! Be Blessed!!

Thursday Oct 18th, 2007. Looking forward to filling in at Harvest Bible Fellowship on Nov 4th. I hope to see some old friends and make some new ones.

Wed Sept 3rd...Recording a new album. Keep it real....

Wed Aug 8th, The Concert is upon is. 5 days and counting. People are asking where to get tickets. Metro Tix has locations at all St Louis Area Schnuck's. Please show the love and come on out!!!!!!!!!!!

Wed Aug 1st, 2007
Hey i want to introduce the band...Dustin Abell, bass and background vocals...Josh Klipsch, drums....Tim Powers, keyboard, piano, guitar....Dan Brown....lead guitar...Melissa Galloway, percuission.... Come on out and check it out on Aug 11th...at Missouri Baptist University. What songs are we going to do that night??? Mostly new songs off my new album coming out soon. Also, several songs off of "OUT IN THE DISTANCE." Bring out the whole family. Kids, audults, uncles, aunts, friends......We look forward to seeing you there!!!!!!!!!,

Thursday, June 28th, 2007 Forty days until the concert at MO BAP University on Saturday Aug. 11th. I think it would be really cool to sell it out. Tickets should go on sale soon. The band is really sounding awesome. Practices have been off the charts. I love playing music with these guys.

Saturday June 16th, 2007.... Happy Father's Day to all Fathers. Every father is a good father on Father's Day. I am especially proud to be the son of my father Richard W. Galloway. He came from a small town upstate New York. Unfortunatly, his father left his mother and ran off when he was but seven. No one knew where he was. They did find him some years later remarried to a gal in Kansas City. My Dad got to know his Dad a little bit when after getting out of the Navy, in 1955, he got a summer job in Cleveland at a Standard Oil factory. A co-worker set my Dad up on a blind double date with a gal who was in nursing school. Within a year, they were married and a year or so later I was born in Washington, D.C. at George Washington Hospital the same Hospital where John F Kennedy's children were born right around the same time. Richard and Joan went on to have a total of 10 children. They now have 30 plus grandchildren scattered around the country. So Happy Father's Day Richard W. Galloway, from your son who loves you and thinks the world of you!

Saturday, May 26th, 2007.....We are really pumped about the concerts coming up. Please, please, pretty please…check the “Booking” page on this web site for details. Show us the love and we will give you the show. That's a promise. We really are so excited to have what is really an all-star group put together. Guitarist extraordinaire and artist in his own right, Dan Brown, has committed to the group. What can I say…? I love the way this guy plays the guitar. Dare say, the best in St. Louis. (I will dare say). Also, a fantastic drummer, Josh Clips will be joining us. Some of you might have seen Josh before, as he was a band member with the talented Tim Powers of St Louis. He is solid. Again one of the best in St. Louis. To hold down the bottom, we have the undeniably talented Dustin Abell. He can do it all. Not only does is he solid on the bass, but he also sings backup. He truly is Able. Check it out and get it on your calendar. You can send an email to Kathy Hart who’s email is listed a the bottom of the “Booking” page to reserve tickets as they are not on sale yet……..Kathy is my personal secretary and also does the bookings. She is really quite awesome as I can attest.
So, look for announcement on Ticket sales and get your ticket and then....let’s rock the house!!!!

Saturday April 28th, 2007 Beautiful weather is finally here. The sunshine brings out the positive in all of us. Sunshine, glorious sunshine. My guitar even seems to like it as it gets more attention. I like to sit out on the porch or find a grassy meadow to sit and play whatever comes to mind.

Thursday, April 15th....Worked on some recordings today. Getting pretty good with the tech side of it. I was working out some hamonies with Melissa. She's a good singer and better looking than I, by far. It's all good I am going for a more stripped down live feel. It's hard to get out of the way of the music sometimes. Stay tuned....

TUESDAY APRIL 17TH...Prayers and condolences go out to the family and friends of those killed and wounded at Va. Tech yesterday.

MONDAY FEB 05...Why do kids feel so bad that they get to the point of taking their own life? There just doesn't seem to be enough love to go around so that everyone on this earth feels good about themselves. It is truly a rough world, especially for a teenager. If you are hurting and have thoughts of suicide, get some help. Believe me, I have been there myself. So far down you feel like you can't get any lower. Families do a great job of loving their children and yet they still feel so desperate. Sometimes, no matter what you do, it doesn't seem to help. It doesn't make any sense. Let's pray for those families who have lost a loved one to teen suicide or any suicide for that matter. And, let's pray for those that are hurting, that they might turn from their struggle and get help.

Tuesday January 23rd....Taking time off for recording. It is going great. Got to keep it fresh. Still working on the concert for St Louis for early 07.

Friday January 12th, 2007....Tonight there was an answer to prayer by many in St Louis. A 13 year old boy had been missing since Monday after he got off his afternoon school bus and was gone. Five days later, after many leads, the police found him, and another boy 15, who were being kept in an apartment in Kirkwood, MO. The 15 year old boy had been a captive since he was 11 for 4 and 1/2 years. I am sure that this story will amaze everyone even more as it unfolds. Prayers go out to the boys and the families for recovery. This is nothing short of a miracle as generally within 24 after the chances of recovering a child missing dwindles down to practically nothing.

Saturday, Oct 21st.... Peter James and I have been working real hard recording new songs. Hopefully, we will make some headway in the next month. We are working on a one off concert in St Louis for sometime in early 07. Stay tuned for the particulars. Go Cards!!!

Thursday June 1st, 2006 Check it out. We are going to be sharing the stage with Rebecca St James on August 20th. We will be joined by our good friend Dan Brown Jr. Get your tickets early. Should be a sell out!

Monday Dec 12th. Thanks for all who came out and showed us the love at the Border's on Saturday night. We had a blast. Special thanks to Mike Helbig for playing the drums that night. I hope everyone has a blessed time during the holiday season. Celebrating the birth of Jesus is what it is all about but it is so hard to keep that in focus, especially when you have kids and you are all worried about making it memorable for them.

Monday Dec 12th, 2005,
What a great time we had in Springfield. We always love to see the folks down there. Peter had a great time and we were blessed by the hospitality of the Beavers, Missy, Larry and Bandon. We will be back.

MONDAY NOV 21ST,
Looking forward to the "CONCERT FOR KATRINA" Dec 3rd at The River in Springfield, Mo. There will be quite a few great artists. We will be going on at 10pm right after our good friend Dan Brown Jr. Please tell your friends to show up for a great cause.

Monday May, May 9th, 2005 Thanks to all that turned out for the Walk4Life Concert on Saturday! We were truly blessed and it was nice to see such a good crowd. On behalf of the band, I will say that it was a heck of a lot of fun. And for such a great cause. Keep supporting and praying for those at the PRC. They are on the front line everyday doing such great work.

Tuesday March 15th, 2005 Just back from Nashville. It was a great trip. It was interesting to see so many groups and artists are headquartered in Nashville. We had breakfast at Bruegger's Bagels one morning and there were 4 tour buses in the parking lot. We felt at home. We enjoyed our time there and especially being down on the waterfront. It was good to get back. At practice on Sunday, Anthony Kaid joined us. He is a young drummer(20). Anthony has been playing with Dan, our new lead guitarist for some time now. It helps that they are familiar with each other and practice was awesome. I really like what we are doing and I can't wait for everybody to hear us. It felt like a band. We are kicking around the name ORACLE. Please email me and let me know what you think.

Tuesday March 8th, 2005
Practices have been going great. It has been one of the highlights of the music so far to get to know Dan Brown. His great character and commitment to The Lord really shines through in every thing he does. You can visit his web site at www.danbrownjr.com . Check out the AWAKENING stuff. You can get a taste of how he plays. I can't wait to get out in front of everybody with the group. You gotta check it out. Stay tuned for dates. It will take a good two months before we will be ready.

Tuesday Feb 23rd
Man oh man! You guys are gonna love our newest edition to the band. Mr. Dan Brown is a guitar player's guitar player! The good Lord allowed our paths to cross as he came to one of our Border's concerts and I heard from Ryan what a talent Dan is. A definite answer to prayer the Lord put it on my heart to ring him up. He has been on tour over the last year around the country. He teaches guitar and even dabbles on the piano. He has a heart of gold and has already become a huge part of the band just in our practices as he learns the songs. He can play as heavy as it gets and then turn around and delicately pick a melody. Wait till ya' hear what he does to the music. Takes it up a few notches I'd say. I didn't sleep much the first night he played with us. Whoa buddy! We will be practicing and recording over the next couple of months. We may throw a gig in there somewhere just to get Dan out there with us. Stayed tuned! It just keeps getting' better.

We had a great time taping a segment for the "SHOW ME ST. LOUIS SHOW" on Channel 5 on Friday. I didn't get a chance to see it, but I heard we did alright. I was interviewed and then Ryan and I did a song together. I am glad so many of you were able to see it. Someone taped it so I hope to see it soon. Playing at the Women's Show was a bit tough acoustically. We did the best we could although people told us that they wished it was louder. Altogether though, we had a great time and our whole entourage of about 10 people went out to have a bite at Friday's after ward. I will be taking a little break to get some rest. I played again at church yesterday and I just need a little break. I have been playing non stop since November. About half the stuff I do isn't on the web site. Private events and things I do at some churches. It's all good. We will keep you posted. We are going to be working on some rough recordings of some of the new stuff in the next week.

Rockin' at CFN last night was a blast. We followed a great band, Max Power. They are really good. They set the bar high. Those that stayed put there hands together and stomped their feet and helped us Rock The House. I heard there were about 4,000 people in attendance at the Christian Family Night altogether. Thanks for the great support for those that came! We will be down at the St. Louis Women's Show this Saturday Feb 12th. We are on at 3pm. The blonde haired lady from the TV Show, The Apprentice will be making a speech. Christian Family Night was a great alternative to Fat Tuesday (which I heard bombed). This was a great event and the folks at the GOOD NEWS HERALD were behind it. Let's do it again next year and get even more people.

Monday January 24th Friday night at Kingdom Treasure's in Fairview Hts., Illinois. Ryan and I did an acoustic set. We enjoyed meeting some new/old friends. Dan Matt, was playing the set before us. I didn't realize that he was an acquaintance from way back. I got a copy of his demo CD. I like it. Lot's of potential. He has a catchy song about "less of me, and more of Jesus." I wish him much success. As always, Scott was a great host and we never have to worry about the sound. Ryan gave everyone a treat by doing one of his original songs. His, "Dashboard Confessional's style" was a turn on for some of the younger folks in the crowd. All together, a great evening. Saturday night, Border's Ballwin. What a great time. We were joined on our acoustic set by Peter James. He helps out with some mean base on the key board. His dad was there and he said that he could have sworn that he was playing a fender bass and that it actually sounded like finger plucking. That's Peter and his magical set up with his keyboard patches! He is a real talent and we are fortunate to have him. Thanks to all the folks that came out especially the Stringer's who brought two or three tables full of music lovers. We were so blessed. If you haven't caught a Border's yet, come over to the Border's in Fairview Hts. this next Saturday for the CD release party. Tonight, we are performing down at the Sunshine Mission in St. Louis.

Monday, Jan. 10th, 2005 We had a great weekend. We kicked it off on Friday. We played for the good folks at the Solid Rock in St. Louis. Haven't been there for a while. Always enjoy the atmosphere there. We then, traveled to Springfield, MO. We were invited to stay at the Strecker's residence in Springfield on Saturday night which we readily accepted. When we arrived Sandy had a big spread and we just scared down since we hadn't eaten all day. We watched the 2nd half of the Ram's game which they won at the very end even though Seattle played a great game. Then, we traveled off to the River Of Life Church where we were greeted by Mark the audio visual guru. He was so on top of things and with his big screen and monitors he had quite the set up. We practiced until 11pm and then went back to go to sleep at the Stecker's House. Next morning we practiced a bit, did a sound check and then led worship at the church. What a precious time that was. Thanks to Pastor Jim, the Striker's and all of the absolutely wonderful people at The River! We hope to get back there soon. On the way home, Melissa was craving chips and salsa, so we found a great Mexican place in Union, Mo called El Ranchito. Just a half hour from St. Louis. We stuffed our faces and then headed home to sleep in our own beds. We are so happy to have so many new friends in Springfield.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL! We are looking forward to rockin' the house in Springfield, Missouri next week and all the upcoming gigs in the New Year. See live shows page for details.

Wenesday Dec 22nd Here is an email I received from Susie Duncan at the Good News Herald. I don't think she would mind it being posted here. I love to get emails like this. Merry Christmas Christopher!

Hi Chris,
My friends Mark and Christy have a little boy Christopher who is 6 years old that they took to your concert at the Sheldon and he has played our CD everyday since. He thinks you Rock!! He has a nerve condition that effects his muscles and is in and out of the hospital at times. If you have time and want to make a little boy’s day and either call him or provide him with an autograph picture. He’d flip!! His name is Christopher and he has played your CD until they had to practically buy a new CD player for him.
Susie

Monday Dec 20th, 2004 Border's Friday concert was a ton of fun. We enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people. I really love to reach out and give people a musical experience. That is what I feel happens every time we play these days. There were so many great comments and we sold a bunch of CDs. We had a geat turn out. The next Border's will be on January 22nd at the Ballwin, Mo. store. See the "liveshows" page for details.

Monday Dec 13th, 2004 It was such a pleasure doing worship with Michael Sust and everyone at E Free on Sunday. I was blessed as I hope others were. It was great to look out and see everyone getting into that precious time. I am looking forward to doing Border's this coming Friday Night. We will be doing an acoustic set that gets pretty lively.

Sat Dec 4th 04 I hate to say it, but if you mist Border's last night, you missed a great time. Thanks to all those for the love and support. I enjoyed meeting the Baer's in person, finally. It was nice to see all the guys out with Warren and Micheal. Pop, Cita, and Claudine were there. Pop you were right on the "Superman" song. Great request. Ryan Pellegreen and Peter James did a great job. Blake Bennet was able come out to hear me do the song he wrote for his Dad. "Daddy Don't Ever Leave Me." It is kind of a country song about a kid that really loves his dad and never wants he dad to ever be out of his life. Even when he was in high school he never changed his view of his dad. At the end, his dad dies, and his dad's imaginary voice speaks to him from heaven, letting him know that he will always be his friend even though he has gone on to be with the "Father way up above." Thanks to Warren White and Michael Nerl from "The Screening Room" for the help with the sound. If you ever need a home entertainment system, wow!, these guys have it nailed. They are at Lindberg and Clayton Road in St. Louis. Tina Osborne gave us all a treat. She and hubby Roy stopped in and it coaxed her into doing a couple of songs with us. The girl sings like an angel. Well that's it! Next Border's is on the 17th at the Brentwood store. Hope to see you all there!

Wed Dec 1st 04

I hope to see a bunch of you up at Border's this Friday night. I will be joined by the multi talented Ryan Pellegreen from St. Louis. Ryan plays guitar, drums, and back up vocals. Peter James may join us also. Peter plays the keyboards to the max. It'll be fun. Lots of new songs and of course we will play some of the favorites like "Coming To The Father" and "All About You." Starts at 8. Don't be late.

Monday, Nov. 15th Been workin' on some new stuff again. Wrote a song called "Who You Are." How can you believe in something or someone if you don't have an idea of who or what they are? Truely impossible. Anyway, that's the idea of the song. I am looking forward to the gigs in the next month. Come check it out!

Monday November 1st, 2004 A Cuppa Jo and the St. Louis Show. Thanks to all of you who attended the concert on Saturday night. That was a great time. The show will air on Charter Cable Channel 8 this Thursday the 11th of November at 8pm and again on Monday the 15th of November at 3pm. Thanks to Brett Johnson and his crew from the St. Louis Show. But again thanks to all that supported us at Cuppa Jo's on Saturday night.

Quest This Sunday!!: Please join us this Sunday morning at Quest, E Free Church, Carman and Weidman Road in St. Louis at 10:45 am. Quest is an alternative worship service that meets in the Chapel at E Free Church. You will be blessed, I promise! Next Saturday, Oct 30th, our good friend Benjiman has us playing at Cup A Jo's in St. Charles at Wolfrum and Highway 94 at 8pm. Get ready to rock the house!! You can hear some of my new songs. See what you think. Come on out, meet some friends and get caffeinated.

I have been working on writing new songs. I can't for people to hear some of them. I am going to start putting some thoughts together to try to do an "unplugged" or live project. Stay tuned!! I just want to thank all of you who have purchased CDs and come to the concerts. And, thanks to those who have been calling the radio stations requesting some of my songs. That's showin' the love as they say.

Monday, Oct 4th, 2004 Wow!! What a precious time it was at the Snows in Belleville at The MOSAIC MUSIC FESTIVAL, on Saturday night. We simply had a blast! When you are playing on a big stage like that, with the huge speakers and great sound folks, you can really let go and rock the house. I always wanted to play somewhere where it was cold enough to see your breath on the lights. It was really cool in several different ways. I played with Peter James on the Keys, Ryan Pelligreene on the drums, and Melissa on the percussion stuff. Everyone does back up vocals. All I can say is that it works for me. I felt like we could really let go at this venue and play as loud and hard as we wanted. The Snows is a huge amphitheatre. Dan Hartke and “More Than Me” played just before us. I was backstage and couldn’t really see the show, but I heard they were great. Thanks to all of the great supporters who came out. At one time, I was moved when I saw people standing on the chairs and rockin’ out! Thanks to Clay Crosse for cummin' out. This guy is for real. You rock dude! Be Blessed Forever!!

Monday Sept 27th: Thanks a bunch to Tim Cunningham for having me on his show on 106.5 in St. Louis last night. Tim is quite the talented Sax player. He has several albums, (I have them all!) You can pick them up at Streetside Records. Anyway, I think he likes my music and wanted to have me live on his show. I did a song live (Sacred Lamp) and then he played two of my songs during the 7pm show. We will be ready to rock the house this Saturday at the Mosaic Music Fest!! See YOU THERE!!!

Monday August 23rd Great weekend!!! We had a great session at the Hebron Cafe just south of downtown St. Louis. Cafe Hebron (see www.stlcm.com ) is a great place with lots of great food and a pretty darn good house sound system. Greg and Kathy are the proprieters. We met some fine folks there on Saturday night including the guys that play in the Tim Power's Band. They were on the same bill and brought a good crowd making for a packed house. I did an acoustic set. Many thanks to all those who come out and support us. Then, on Sunday, Melissa and I played at Quest. Quest is an alternative worship at E FREE Church in St. Louis. Melissa sang beautifully and we were blessed by the time we had leading worship.

Monday August 9th Just got back from Cleveland. It was great to see so many friends at the old high school reunion. I always feel a ton of support from everybody back there. We are still feeliing the jet lag as we got in last night. I hope to come back out there and play soon. I will keep you all posted.

July 19th, 2004 I am hearing from so many people that were at the concert on Saturday night at the Sheldon. I am glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for supporting me and rockin' out with us. People want to know who the girl backup vocalist was. Her name is Tina Osborne. She has her own CD that is a fine well produced album. You can go to www.stlcm.com for more information. Thanks to all of the band members. Thanks to Mr. Dan Harke and "More Than Me." They did a great job opening the show. Thanks again to "The Good News Herald" for their sponsorship of the concert.

JUNE 1st, 2004 We are practicing and getting ready for the BIG CONCERT the Sheldon Music Hall in St. Louis. We are gonna rock the house, I can promise you that!! We have John Brown on lead guitar, James Wells on bass, Ryan Pellegrine on rhythm guitar and back up vocals,Tina Osborne backup vocals, and Peter James on the keyboards. We are hoping to have several special guests that will play that evening that will be announced. We will have a special guest, pianists Michael Sust. Greg McCoy, from Crown Productions, who is producing the concert, and William Brilenge and Susie Duncan, from the Good News Herald(the major sponsor of the event), Melissa and I went down on Friday to the PRC Headquarters in St. Louis to visit with the Director of Events, Keith Thorne. We were all so impressed with the commitment to helping pregnant mothers by giving them options such as free ultrasounds which will hopefully help them to make the right decision in regards to preserving life. They also work with the fathers in order to give them direction in how they can fulfill their responsibility towards the mother and the child. After seeing firsthand what they do, I am even more excited about the PRC receiving a percentage of the proceeds from the concert on July 17 at the Sheldon. I would love to sell out the Sheldon and be able to donate a bunch of money to the PRC.

May 30th, 2004 Finally, some down time tonight. What a week. On Monday,Michael Sust, Music Director from E Free asked me to go down to the Sunshine Mission to play for some of the homeless men that use the shelter to eat and sleep. I have to say that those men inspired Michael and I to a performance that I will never forget. Michael is a great pianist with keen instincts and was able to play my songs with a passion. The men blessed us as they clapped along and moved the music to a higher level. It was happenin' as they say.

Friday night was a quite an experience. Scott from Kingdom Treasures in Fairview Hts., Illinois, asked me to join in a "Songwriter In The Round" event there. I so enjoyed that time. Meeting the other songwriters and hearing their stories on how they wrote songs was cool. Each of us took turns presenting our songs and we all joined in to assist playing or singing in some way. I really liked being able to play the harmonica to some of the songs. It was a full house and I believe that the folks there all had a great time as was evidenced by there enthusiasm to join in with us by clapping and in some cases jumping up and down. I always have a great time at Kingdom Treasures and Scott Milford is always a perfect host.

Saturday night we played at a new place down in the city of St. Louis called the Cafe Hebron. Greg and his wife, I believe her name is Cathy, do a great job and have provided their neighborhood down on Cherokee Street in St. Louis a great place for food, coffee, deserts and of course music. The acoustics were great as they have their own sound system, however, I would bring a monitor when I play there again. We met some really great folks. Of note we met Roy and Tina Osborn. Tina is quite the accomplished singer/songwriter herself and Roy is the web master for a great web site for St. Louis Musicians and Coffeehouses. You can go there by going to http://www.stlcm.com/ for updates on what's happening in St. Louis. Tina has agreed to sing backup vocals at the concert at the Sheldon on July 17th in St. Louis. I can't wait!!

May 23rd 2004 Good bye to our kids from this years J's crew. What a special year, once again. May God Bless all of you and don't forget to say hi when you see me or forget to come up to me at a concert. I hope to see you all at the Sheldon Music Hall on July 17th. To Tyler and Anna, two that have families that are moving, we love you and will miss you.

May 17th, 2004 Quest!! There was definitely something happening yesterday at Quest. What a great message from Gary! This gentleman has been gifted in his ability to present ideas in unique ways. The fishhook in the chocolate HO HO was classic. I had a great time with the band and I hope everyone was into it as much as I was. Thanks to Alicia, who does a great job with Quest. Quest is an alternative service at E Free that meets on Sunday morning at 10:45. The music and the message rock!! Thanks to the sound guys for makin' it all right.

May 15th, 2004 Latte DA!! What a great time we had last night. Ryan Pelligrine came in a bit late in the middle of the 2nd set to play the congo drum and I think everyone there loved it. It was cool to see Ryan play that thing. He takes the phrase "getting down" to a completely new level. He puts the drum between his knees and his knees are on the floor in the front of the stage and he starts pounding an earthshattering beat that is just perfect for a coffee house atmosphere. Blessings to proprietors Michelle and John who make Latte DA one of the nicest coffeehouses in the St. Louis area ala Solid Rock Kaffee Hause style. It is great to see folks supporting these coffeehouses. Latte DA is right off highway 55 and Richardson Road across the street from McDonald's around the back of the building. It is worth finding.

May 9th, 2004 Solid Rock was a blast. Many thanks to Adam from Mercy's Child for making such an enjoyable evening. Adam sat in a few songs. As always, it was an enjoyable crowd. I played a new song and felt like the response was positive. It was good to see some of the regulars who are now becoming our following. Every where we play, they show up. God Bless you all!! April 26th, 2004 What a great weekend. Friday night was awesome at Kingdom's Treasures Bookstore, in Illinois. What a great crowd. Lot's of fun. Enjoyed playing with drummer Will Baine. Saturday was a rain out. We were supposed to play on an outdoor stage at Southside Assembly in St. Louis. This was moved to Sunday at 1:30pm. The weather was windy buy nice and we had a great time entertaining the folks at the fair. Thanks to JB(lead guitar), Peter James(keyboards, bass), and Seth Ferguson (drums). Thanks to all the folks at Southside and Susie Duncan for getting us the gig. The highlight of the whole weekend for me personally, was playing "Raise Your Hands" with the full choir, orchestra, and praise band at E Free for two thousand some people. Thanks to Michael Sust for having the vision to put something like that on and to Michael and Steve Herboth for pulling it all together. Thanks to the orchestra, the choir, and the band for a great job they all did. Thanks to Lynn Johnson for her rousing ad lib at the end.

April 20th, 2004 Just got back from the Big D. What a happening place for music. We enjoyed spending time with Mike Yaw. We met with several people pertaining more to the business end of the music. OLE Mexicana. We had enough Mexican food to last for a while.

March 20th, 2004 What a blast! Great to see so many old and new faces at Ascending Glory. It was a great crowd and it was good to see that we could pack um in like that! We are picking up new believers at every performance. I especially enjoyed visiting with as many people as I could and listening to what was going on with them in their lives. I especially enjoyed seeing Jim and Debbie Matuch. They lost their son in a climbing accident several years ago and they are working on a great dream to build the "Jamie Center" near Kirkwood. This will be a safe haven for kids where they can skateboard (legally) and as well as many other activities including of course, music. It's all-good! Thanks to all the Ascending Glory folks, Jeff and Erica, Barbara, and Tim for hosting the event and making everyone so happy with great food and a great atmosphere. If you are in the St. Louis area, Ascending Glory, is a must see. I have been told it may be the largest coffeehouse in the country. With coffee houses like Ascending Glory and Solid Rock and some of the others that are springing up, St. Louis is becoming a great place for musicians to show their craft.

March 13th, 2004 Solid Rock was definitely rocked last night. Justin (Drums and Vocal} and Andy (Base and Vocals) did a great job. It was our first night out after having just a few practices. The chemistry was good and the place was rockin'. Thanks to Chris and his wife, the owners for having us out. We are returning to Solid Rock on Saturday, the 8th of May. This next Friday, the 19th, we are performing a concert at ASCENDING GLORY in St Louis. The guys in the band and I are looking forward to rockin' at the Glory."

March 8th, 2004 Having never played live with a full orchestra and choir, last night was a treat for sure. What an experience. Thanks to the band and all of the people in the orchestra and choir. And what about Lynn Johnson, the young singer who came up and just wailed at the end of "Raise Your Hands." She came in, just nailed that ad lib part, and had to leave. I just loved it! Thanks to all those who bought tickets and shared a great night. Barbara Tucker was awesome. Thanks to MICHAEL SUST his great job of conducting.

March 4th, 2004 What an experience it was last Sunday. To be able to play at my own church was such an awesome thing. I still cannot get over what a total blessing that was. Standing on the edge of the stage and looking out over a crowd that size is awe inspiring. Even though I was up there singing and playing with the band, I felt like a spectator in a way. I looked up in the balcony, and it was full. I have never seen the church rockin' like that on Sunday morning. May the glory fall on Him. Thank you Michael Sust!! Oh, and I found out that you J Crewer's were up in the balcony doing the wave back and forth and clapping. I love you guys!! This Sunday I am going to play at concert being put on at EFREE. Look forward to seeing you there!!!!

Feb 24th, 2004 We have just returned from a road trip to the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast. We had a gig on Friday night at the Winter Classic at the Fairgrounds in Gulfport. Of the many in attendance, I was able to meet some really special people and enjoyed playing there very much. My parents and some of my extended family were able to see us play. EJ and the rest of the band were cool and we enjoyed meeting so many nice folks. It was a pleasure to meet and play on Sunday for Mark Jone's and all those at St. Thomas in Long Beach. I really enjoyed playing there on Sunday night and was glad to see so many people take time on Sunday to attend. Saturday at the Church of Christ was a blast and was a big thrill to play and sing the "National Anthem" at the Winter Classic "Grand Prix" on Sunday. Melissa and I got to get away to the beach on Saturday and it was a sunny blue-sky day. We met many, many new friends and hope to return soon.

Feb 4th, 2004 "Keep Me Here" In a relationship there is going to be conflict at some point. I don't think there's any getting around it. Some are so far gone but have been saved by the grace of God because both people are willing to get down on their knees and dedicate themselves to staying with their commitment. However, it seems like a roller coaster ride along the way where hurtful things may be said or done. If you know what I mean you might especially relate to "Keep Me Here." Marriages today are especially under siege. Newlyweds as well as long timers. Everyone knows someone who has been touched by it, especially kids. Sometimes it just gets to the point where all you can do is ask for and or give unconditional love. Then, pray and know that the good Lord is able to "Fix it all" if we let Him.

January 26th, 2004 I have often been asked about the meaning of a particular song. "Out In The Distance" is one such song. This was one of those songs that I wrote in a total of about a half an hour. It is a sort of a spiritual vision in which people are going through all kinds of things. Some fall, some see a light and some are desperate. All at the same time and yet not at all together. I pictured looking out over a crowd as I was writing the song. Everyone is making a choice or choosing every day. Someone said there was a light, some got their sight, and some did start living. And, in the end, it is through faith, and only through believing that one can see.

January 1st Happy New Year to all. God's blessing to all of you in 2004. Peter is going to Nashville on the 6/7th of January to talk to record companies about a distribution deal. I ask your prayers and support as we are hoping that the Lord will bless this venture. We are exited about the New Year and the prospects for getting out there and playing as much live stuff as we can. Look for postings on the web site for a concert near you.

December 1st, 2003 Thanks to all who have purchased CDs. As we begin to sell CDs, I am overwhelmed with the positive feedback especially what I get from kids. We spent the holidays down on the Gulf coast. We had a gig at Muggs Coffee House the Saturday night before Thanksgiving. It went well and we all had a great time. On Sunday morning at church, they had a big cake for me to celebrate the CD release. It was a total surprise. Melissa was in on it. I had no idea. Thanks to Barb and Jim Sloss. What a total blessing. Peter is currently working on a distribution deal and lining up dates now that the CDs are in. Stay Tuned!

November 14th, 2003 The first shipment of CDs has arrived. Yes!! WE FINALLY HAVE CDs. I understand that pre-orders will go out right away and then they will probably go through the first shipment fairly quickly. My sister Val left a message at the house. She wants 50 CDs. That's my sister. Praise the Lord. Thanks to all of you who have ordered CDs off the web site.

October 27th, 2003 As the CD is being reproduced at Media Works in Nashville, Good News Records has decided to go live with the web site. I can’t wait for you all to hear it. If you made it this far, you are on the web site. Welcome and may God bless you and yours.

October 10th, 2003. The master CD is complete. One listen through and I can hear why Richard Dodd is so highly regarded. Wow! It is loud! It was definitely worth the wait. As soon as the cover design is finished, the master goes back to (you guessed it!) Nashville for reproduction. Dan Zimmer has come up with a great design to match the title for the album. The background for the design uses a picture of gray clouds over a golden field. I really like it. This is getting exciting. Everybody keeps asking me when the CD is coming out. I am itching to start playing some live shows. The studio is cool but I really enjoy playing live. This CD is not so far "Out In The Distance" any more.

October 1st, 2003. Peter is back from Nashville. We listen to the mixes for all of the songs. Wow! Peter tells us that Richard Dodd has offered to master the CD. Richard Dodd has a long list of credits in the music. industry. He has worked with many great artists. To see a list of his credits Click Here. So, it is back to Nashville for mastering.

September 21st, 2003. It is by the grace of God that I am able to do this and that I have been able to do something that I have dreamed about for a long time. I am so exited. At this writing, Peter Carson, my producer, is down in Nashville, about 4 and half-hours east of St. Louis. I understand that he is working until 4AM and then is back up again at 8am to head back to the studio. The future of this album is now in Peter's capable hands and we pray. It has been almost 2 years since we first started recording rough versions of the songs for the album. I am from the show me state, St. Louis, the city below the arch and God is "showing me" so much throughout this entire project. How is this even possible?
So many people have extended their time, talents and efforts in order to make this album what it is.
I thank you all who have been so kind. It is through their belief in what Peter and I were doing that has allowed this to happen.
... We are blessed.
